Well I am sad to say that Spring break is now officially
over and it is time to go back to reality. When I say “reality” I basically
mean having to wake up early and spend my days being productive instead of what
I really spent my days doing. This year my spring break was not your typical
partying it up at a beach in Mexico type of vacation it was more like sleeping
in and binge watching Netflix all while remaining in my pajamas, although I did
have some fun experiences that created long lasting memories. I went on a
spontaneous road trip to San Francisco for the day with one of my best friends
and spent another day I in Fresno taking a campus tour with my sister and
spending the day window-shopping since I am a broke college student. I have
mixed feelings about having a week off in the middle of the semester; the pro
to this has to be that I can take time to focus on recovering mentally from all
the stress. The downside is definitely getting back into the swing of things
after being lazy for an entire week. I have always struggled with managing to
get back into my original state of mind after a break; am I the only one
because it seems like everyone else goes back to reality as if it is the
easiest thing ever. I on the other hand
can barely get myself together to go to school and stay focused on my
schoolwork.
I totally understand you. I am the same way and it has been hard getting back to reality of schoolwork, instead I wish
